Catherine is a nurturing and approachable educator with the ability to cultivate passion within children, assisting them to engage and care for their natural environment. Using a variety of teaching strategies, Catherine endeavours to highlight to the future generations that they can make a difference to the value of the natural environment surrounding them.
Holding a Bachelor of Education, Catherine is able to utilise her knowledge and share information with children in a way that is specifically catered to a variety of learning styles. Currently working as a Preschool teacher, she inspires her students to become active representatives of their environment by encouraging them to take part in beach clean up days and participate in wider community events.
Holding a deep love and respect for the ocean and lands, Catherine is committed to ensuring the quality of living of humanity is in harmony within the natural world. Rather than be disrupted by the evolution of industry, it is a goal to highlight to children how industries can work in partnership with environmental advocates and achieve a positive outcome for fauna and flora.
Catherine is a member of the Surfrider Foundation and Tugun Community Gardens.
